**OPPORTUNITY**

AlpHa Measurement Solutions is experiencing aggressive growth through a global platform consolidation and recognizes a need to strengthen its Sales & Marketing capabilities to meet increased demand and support continued growth. We have an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative to join our Houston-based team.

Our privately held company has over 100 years of liquid sensing experience, is growing, and currently employs 250 team members in Houston Texas and 140 in Shanghai China. We need an organized and energetic CSR who wants to be a part of a growing team, who is self-motivated to advance the companys goals, and who can take the Sales Team to the next level.

Our global headquarters is conveniently located in Houston at the southwest intersection of I-69 and Sam Houston Tollway, just north of Sugar Land.

This individual will report to the Sales Operations Manager.

Classification: Salaried/Exempt, Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and as required to maintain business momentum.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Summary

The Customer Service Representative at AlpHa Measurement Solutions will oversee and coordinate daily communications with assigned customer base by phone and email, receive, acknowledge and enter customer purchase orders, receive and communicate order status, price requests, expedites and other reqeusts from customer. Follow internal communication protocols with supply chain, sales and other departments as needed. Assist Sales Managers with CRM information and reporting, ensure CRM data accuracy for forecasting and document customer communications in CRM system.

Essential Functions

* Answer phone calls from global customers: answer questions regarding new or existing purchase orders, route calls to appropriate resources for technical or pricing questions.

* Receive purchase orders via email. Acknowledge receipt of purchase order to customer via email. Enter order in system. Follow internal communication protocols to alert supply chain, sales or other departments of new orders.

* Receive requests for order status updates from customers via email or via phone call. Identify order status in system or by communicating with other departments. Provide answers to customers via email.

* Receive requests for pricing from customers via email or via phone call. Document customer requirements in the provided forms. Contact engineering and sales departments to request quotation. Issue response to customer on a timely manner.

* Receive requests for expediting shipments, product returns, and technical support. Route requests to appropriate internal resources.

* Document customer communications in CRM system.

* Assist sales managers with CRM information and reporting.

* Ensure CRM data accuracy for forecasting.

Required Qualifications and Experience

* Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

* Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

* Experience with ERP systems and practices (order entry, order status tracking, etc)

* Experience with CRM systems and practices (customer setup, forecasting, reporting)

* Experience handling international customers over the phone.

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

* High school diploma required; college degree preferred

* At least three years in B2B customer service roles. Experience in the process instrumentation or water treatment industry is a plus.

* Occasional overtime to meet business needs

* Must Speak English

* Must be authorized to work in the United States
